GENERAL CONDITIONS

These general conditions or terms and conditions of use (hereinafter, the "General Conditions") govern the use of the website www.work4uinternational.com (hereinafter, the "Site"), operated by Work4u Single Member Limited Company, based in Dim. Gounari 116, Glyfada 166 74, Greece, (hereinafter, "Work4u"), by users accessing the Site.

Users accept the General Conditions in full at the time they access the Site. Not accepting the General Conditions does not permit the User to access the Services.

Work4u reserves the right to modify and update the General Conditions at any time and the modification will be effective from the date of publication.
​
Work4u also reserves the right to interrupt access and/or use of the Services by Users who breach the General Conditions.
​
The General Conditions will remain in force for the entire period of use of the Site by the User.
The General Conditions may also be supplemented by the provisions contained in the individual contracts stipulated between Work4u and the Users, also with regard to the consideration for the Services made available by Work4u via the Site. The individual contracts stipulated between Work4u and the Users also govern the rules relating to the publication of ads and job offers by Work4u.

1. ACCESS TO THE SITE AND SERVICES
Access to the Site is permitted to all Users who accept the General Conditions of Use. Work4u reserves the right to restrict access to the site for the purposes of updating and modifying the content of the Site.

Except where required by law, Work4u does not guarantee that the Site and its contents are error-free or that the Site or the server are free of viruses or other technical defects of any kind.
​
Work4u may not in any way be held liable for any costs incurred by Users for repair, replacement or maintenance services as a result of damage that may be caused to the computer equipment with which Users access the Site.
​
Through the Site, Work4u makes available to Users a range of information relating to services for companies and professional organisations wishing to search for personnel (hereinafter, the "Companies"), as well as for individuals looking for a job (hereinafter, the "Candidates").
​
The General Conditions shall apply in all cases in which Candidates and/or Companies (hereinafter, collectively, the "Users") make use, through the www.work4uinternational.com (the "Site"), information relating to the services offered by Work4u through the Site (hereinafter, the "Services"), which consist, in particular, for Companies, in outplacement, training and search and selection services; for Candidates, in the possibility of applying to job advertisements published by Work4u, in the possibility of sending their CVs for similar opportunities and future job advertisements, in the possibility of participating in training initiatives or professional retraining courses.

The use of the Services for Users includes sending the curriculum vitae and forwarding the application for job positions advertised on the Site as well as communication activities prior to and following the stipulation of a contract with Work4u.

The User is asked to submit the following data:
- for Candidates, personal data, such as education and training, work experience, any belonging to protected categories, any photos (the "Candidate's Information")
- for Companies, information about the company and the natural or legal person and also all the information that goes into the description of the job offer that Work4u may publish in the "Vacancies" section of the Site (the "Company Information").

Users' personal data are stored, kept and processed for the purposes and in the ways indicated below, in compliance with the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data, as well as with the principles of lawfulness, correctness and transparency set out in the legislation itself and in accordance with Work4u's privacy policy, available at the following link Privacy Policy.
The collection and processing of Users' personal data are carried out for purposes related to the Services and the implementation of contractual relationships.

The processing of data for the purposes indicated will take place using computerised and manual methods, consistent with the purposes for which the data were collected, in compliance with the rules of confidentiality and in accordance with the security measures provided for by the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data and the Privacy Policy.

The insertion of personal data is compulsory by law for all that is required for the execution of contractual or regulatory obligations. Not entering the data may make it impossible for Work4u to guarantee Users access to the Services.
​
Work4u takes and puts in place adequate management measures to protect personal data against the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
Work4u provides staff search and selection services to client companies, and the professionals in Work4u's HR department who provide consultancy to client companies deal with the selection of company profiles at all stages of the selection process, from the identification of the need to the placement of the professional skills sought.

The General Terms and Conditions also apply to the consultancy services offered and to the professional profile search and selection service.
​
With the exception of what is expressly provided for within the individual contractual provisions governing the relationship between Work4u and its client companies, Work4u assumes no responsibility for the conclusion and execution of the employment relationship established between the Company and the selected Candidate, nor does it guarantee the precise and correct fulfilment of the Candidate's contractual obligations with the Company.

In the event that the Company decides to terminate the employment relationship with the Candidate earlier than provided for by law and by the contract, Work4u may not be held liable in any way by the Company or by the Candidate, except as provided for within the individual contractual provisions governing the relationship between Work4u and the client companies.
​
Furthermore, Work4u may not be held liable or called to account by the Company or by the Candidate in respect of events, facts and occurrences relating to and falling within the scope of the employment relationship exclusively between the Company and the Candidate and governed by the specific contract signed between the Company and the Candidate.
​
Work4u will publish in the "Vacancies" section of the Site the advertisements and job offers according to the professional figures searched, in an anonymous form therefore omitting to indicate the Company's data and aimed at both sexes.
​
The content on the Site is provided for general information purposes only and is not intended to provide guidance, advice, recommendations or specialist professional opinions on which the User may legitimately rely.

Work4u is not responsible for the accuracy, precision or completeness of the content provided on the Site.
​
The content of the Site does not in any way constitute the provision of recruitment and selection services or any other type of professional or consultancy service.
Where there are links on the Site to other third party websites, Work4u is not responsible for the proper functioning of those websites and access to them is completed by the User under his/her own responsibility.

2. CONDITIONS OF USE
The User undertakes not to take any action that may lead to a malfunctioning of the Site or violate these General Conditions, such as, but not limited to, using any type of tool, method or automatic device aimed at extracting or acquiring the data present on the Site accessing the Site and using the Services by providing false information or using the Services by providing third-party information;
transmitting or sending unsolicited mail or e-mails and, in general, making any use of the Site other than that permitted by Work4u; copying or reproducing, publishing and disseminating in any way any of the Contents or information available on the Site violate or attempt to violate the protection of the Site, including through attempts to verify the vulnerability of the system or security measures; use the Services for any unlawful purpose or illegal activity; transmit or send content, announcements, defamatory communications, libelous or other offences provided for by law, offensive, obscene, threatening or inciting hatred, racial discrimination or other forms of discrimination, threatening or otherwise offensive, containing pornographic material or sexually explicit content, as determined at the discretion of Work4u.

Breaches of system or network security relating to the Site may give rise to civil and/or criminal liability. Work4u reserves the right to carry out any appropriate investigation of any violations, involving and cooperating with the competent authorities, in order to prosecute the Users responsible for such violations.

The content made available as part of the Services, such as text, graphics, images, videos, information, logos, icons, audio files and other content (the "Content"), is protected by copyright and applicable intellectual and industrial property laws. The intellectual and industrial property rights over the Content, as well as its collection and organisation, are the exclusive property of Work4u or its assignees and are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual and industrial property laws. Unauthorised use of the Contents is prohibited and constitutes a violation of the laws protecting intellectual and industrial property.

The User declares and agrees not to modify the Contents and not to reproduce, display, publicly represent, distribute, or in any way use the Contents in any way for public or commercial purposes, in connection with products and/or services, in any manner which may cause confusion among consumers, in a manner which denigrates or discredits Work4u and/or its assignees, or in any manner which, in any case, infringes the intellectual and industrial property rights of Work4u and its assignees.
Users also declare that they will not make any unauthorised use of the Contents. Users agree not to use the Services in such a way as to result in any infringement of intellectual property rights. Work4u reserves the right to block access to the Services to Users who have infringed the intellectual property rights of Work4u or third parties. Work4u reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take any action it deems appropriate to restrict access to the Services to Users who infringe intellectual property rights.
3. EXEMPTION FROM LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
Work4u takes every action necessary to provide for the correct functioning of the Site and, except where required by law, Work4u is not liable for any damage or loss suffered by Users as a result of their use of the Site.
Users access the Site and its Contents under their own responsibility. Users undertake to indemnify and hold Work4u indemnified from and against any claims, actions or requests from third parties arising from the Advertisements, their contents or other materials provided to Users, as well as from the unauthorised use of the Contents or the violation by Users of the General Conditions. To this end, Work4u will promptly notify Users of any third party claims, actions or demands.

4. COMMON PROVISIONS
The General Conditions are governed by Greek law. For any dispute arising in relation to the General Terms and Conditions the Court of Athens shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Work4u reserves the right to change the content, graphic appearance and any other aspect relevant to the information relating to the Services and the Content, at its sole discretion.
The invalidity, nullity and/or partial invalidity or ineffectiveness of the General Terms and Conditions or individual clauses shall not affect the invalidity, nullity or ineffectiveness of the remaining provisions.
Failure or delay on the part of Work4u in exercising a right shall not be deemed a waiver or limitation of Work4u's right to assert and subsequently exercise the same right or to exercise the other legal remedies available.
