The content made available as part of the Services, such as text, graphics, images, videos, information, logos, icons, audio files and other content (the "Content"), is protected by copyright and applicable intellectual and industrial property laws. The intellectual and industrial property rights over the Content, as well as its collection and organisation, are the exclusive property of Work4u or its assignees and are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual and industrial property laws. Unauthorised use of the Contents is prohibited and constitutes a violation of the laws protecting intellectual and industrial property.


The User declares and agrees not to modify the Contents and not to reproduce, display, publicly represent, distribute, or in any way use the Contents in any way for public or commercial purposes, in connection with products and/or services, in any manner which may cause confusion among consumers, in a manner which denigrates or discredits Work4u and/or its assignees, or in any manner which, in any case, infringes the intellectual and industrial property rights of Work4u and its assignees.
Users also declare that they will not make any unauthorised use of the Contents. Users agree not to use the Services in such a way as to result in any infringement of intellectual property rights. Work4u reserves the right to block access to the Services to Users who have infringed the intellectual property rights of Work4u or third parties. Work4u reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take any action it deems appropriate to restrict access to the Services to Users who infringe intellectual property rights.


INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Work4u Single Member Limited Company hereinafter “the Company” wishes to provide, pursuant to and in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter "GDPR"), information about the purposes, methods and scope of communication and dissemination of personal data provided by candidates of legal age.

INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Work4u Single Member Limited Company hereinafter “the Company” wishes to provide, pursuant to and in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter "GDPR"), information about the purposes, methods and scope of communication and dissemination of personal data provided by candidates of legal age.

1. PURPOSE OF CANDIDATE DATA PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS

1.1: Your data are collected through the following methods:

  • Uploading of the CV from the Companies' websites (hereinafter also "Site");

  • websites of any third-party companies and social networks;

  • e-mail;

  • during an interview related to a position you applied for.

1.2: Your data are processed either in case of application in response to a specific advertisement posted on the Site or in case of voluntary application through the Site.

1.3: The legal basis applicable to the processing of your personal data for the purpose referred to in 1.2. is the performance of a contract under Article 6 paragraph 1(b) of the GDPR.

1.4: Your data are processed both in case of application in response to a specific advertisement and in case of voluntary application for the pursuit of the purpose of search and selection of candidates, in particular:

  • for direct placement at our client's third company

  • for the realization of paths within the framework of collaborations and/or partnerships with public and private labor market operators.

 

1.5: Your data are also processed to send you service communications closely related to the purpose of candidate search and selection using traditional or automated contact methods.

1.6: The legal basis applicable to the processing of your personal data for the purposes referred to in Section 1.4, is the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) of the GDPR.

1.7: Your data may be processed for all personnel searches and selections in line with your profile in order to secure a job placement for you, including by sending job offers by traditional or automated contact methods.

1.8: The legal basis applicable to the processing of your personal data for the purposes referred to in 1.7 is the legitimate interest of the Company in processing your data for the purpose of securing a job placement for you, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Should you object to such processing, your data will be processed exclusively in the context of the specific selections for which you have applied.

1.9: Your data may be processed:

  • for analyses of aggregate data for statistical purposes, not aimed at detecting the behavior of data subjects and without direct effects on them, and for analyses of data for the purpose of verifying and forecasting business results and for internal and external audit purposes, which do not produce effects in the legal sphere of data subjects. Such analysis activities may also be carried out through the use of computer and artificial intelligence tools;

  • in an aggregate manner for the maintenance and improvement of the systems used to perform the services, in ways not directed at detecting behavior of data subjects and without direct effects on them.

 

1.10: The legal basis applicable to the processing of your personal data for the purpose referred to in 1.9 is the legitimate interest of the Company (maintenance and improvement of business systems) pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1(f) of the GDPR

 

1.11: Your data may also be processed to establish, exercise or defend a right of ours in court.

1.12: The legal basis applicable to the processing of your personal data for the purpose mentioned in 1.11 is the legitimate interest of the Company (exercising or defending a right in court) ex Art. 6 paragraph 1 lett. f) of the GDPR.

 

2. FURTHER PURPOSES OF PROCESSING AND RELATED LEGAL BASES

 

2.1: Your data may also be processed, if you give your consent, for the purpose of sending informative and promotional communications related to the services offered by the Company (in particular, training initiatives, career development, coaching), or the fulfilment of statistical and/or market studies and research related to services at work, using both traditional and automated contact methods (e.g., e-mail, text messaging, instant messaging systems, paper mail, operator calls).

2.2: The legal basis applicable to the processing of personal data about you for the purposes mentioned in  is your consent under Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a) of the GDPR.

2.3: It is understood that consent to the processing of data for these purposes is purely optional; therefore, in the event of any refusal to process data for the aforementioned purpose, your data will be processed only for the purposes indicated in point 1 above.

 

3. CATEGORIES OF DATA PROCESSED, SOURCE OF DATA AND PROCESSING OF SPECIAL CATEGORIES OF DATA

 

3.1: The Company, by way of example but not limited to, will collect the following categories of common personal data: first name, last name, password, date of birth, residence, e-mail address and telephone contacts, educational qualification, work experience, and any additional data you have included in your resume and/or provided during an interview at one of the branches.

 

3.2: The Company will collect the aforementioned data from you and/or from websites operated by third parties or social networks through which the Company publishes advertisements (on behalf of client companies or on its own behalf) or through which you may view candidate profiles.

 

3.3: Should you respond to an advertisement or voluntarily apply, you will be given the opportunity to declare whether you belong to a protected category in the data collection forms on the Site or during a telephone interview or at one of the branches. This information is likely to reveal your health status and falls under the special categories of data referred to in Article 9 of the GDPR and will be processed in accordance with the relevant regulations in force (including Legislative Decree No. 276/2003).

 

3.4: The legal basis applicable to the processing of special categories of personal data concerning you for the purposes described in Section 1.2 is your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR.

 

3.5: In the event that you do not give your consent, it will not be possible to process data relating to your membership in a protected category.

 

3.6: Instead, please do not indicate in your curriculum vitae special categories of data (personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data relating to a person's health or sex life or sexual orientation).

 

4. DATA RETENTION PERIOD

4.1: In the case of data processing for the purposes of registration to the Site and search and selection referred to in paragraph 1, the data are entered into the company database and kept for 12 months from their entry or from your last interaction with the Site (accessing, updating data, or uploading your curriculum vitae), unless you express your willingness to a further period of retention of your data that you will be asked to express before the expiry of the aforementioned term.

 

4.2: In the case of data processing for the purposes related to the establishment, exercise or defense of a right in a court of law, the data are included in a historical file and kept for the duration of the litigation, until the time limits for the appeal actions are exhausted.

 

4.3: In the case of data processing for the additional marketing purposes mentioned in paragraph 2, the data are entered into the company database stored for the duration of 12 months or until you revoke your consent.

 

4.4: After the above retention periods have expired, the data are destroyed or anonymized, consistent with the technical procedures for deletion and backup.

 

5. NATURE OF DATA PROVISION AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL

5.1: The provision of the data highlighted with an asterisk in the registration form on the Site is necessary to allow the Company to perfect its registration referred to in paragraph 1 above; therefore, any refusal to provide the requested data will prevent the Companies from perfecting your registration.

 

5.2: The provision of the data highlighted with an asterisk in the data collection form on the Site or requested from the agencies is necessary to allow the Company to pursue the search and selection purposes referred to in paragraph 1 above; therefore, any refusal to provide the requested data will prevent the Company from carrying out its search and selection activities and will not allow your application to be considered.

 

5.3: The provision of data for the marketing purposes mentioned in paragraph 2 above is optional. Any refusal to provide the data or failure to provide consent will have no consequence on your registration to the Company's Site and will not prevent the Company from carrying out the search and selection activities.

 

6. RECIPIENTS OF DATA

6.1: Your data may be processed exclusively by employees of company functions authorized to process them as they are deputized to pursue the above-mentioned purposes. Such employees have received, in this regard, appropriate operational instructions.

6.2: Your personal data may be disclosed by the Company, in pursuit of the purposes set forth in paragraph 1 above, to the following entities:

  • Client of the Company or agencies;

  • Other market participants in the case of partnerships;

  • Legal consultants;

  • Training organizations;

6.3: Your personal data may also be processed by parties, expressly appointed as data processors, who provide the Companies with:

  • Site management and maintenance services;

  • Candidate database management and maintenance services;

  • Archiving services;

  • Market research services;

  • Assessment and training services;

  • Event organization services;

  • Marketing services.

6.4: Personal data provided by applicants will not be disseminated.

 

7. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

 

7.1: Data subjects are granted the rights set forth in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, where applicable.

 

7.2: In particular, data subjects may ask the Data Controller for access to data, their deletion, rectification of inaccurate data, supplementation of incomplete data, and restriction of processing in the cases provided for in Article 18 of the GDPR.

 

7.3: Data subjects have the right to object, at any time, in whole or in part, to the processing of data necessary for direct marketing purposes and for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.

7.4: Data subjects also have the right to receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format the data provided to the data controllers, as well as, if technically feasible, to transmit it to another data controller without hindrance, if the conditions for the exercise of the right to portability under Article 20 of the GDPR are present.

 

7.5: These rights may be exercised by writing by mail, to the address below, or by electronic mail to the following e-mail address info@work4u.gr. It is understood that where the request is made by electronic means, the information will be provided in a commonly used electronic format.

 

7.6: Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (particularly in the member state where they usually reside or work or the state where the alleged violation occurred).

 

CONSENT WITHDRAWAL

8.1: Data subjects have the right to revoke consents given at any time by sending an e-mail communication to info@work4u.gr

 

8.2: Revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent given prior to revocation.
